Paphiopedilum glaucophyllum - successive bloomings, during which each flower can remain on the flower stalk for 4-5 weeks, compensating for the lack of fragrance with its display.
It is perhaps among the most popular hybrids of the genus, being also vigorous plants and perfectly suitable for beginners enthusiastic about growing orchids, developing remarkably well both under artificial lighting and natural light.
An important aspect is the need for frequent substrate changes, at least once a year, as it does not tolerate the aging of the growing medium, and even less its drying out and compacting.
The recommended growing temperature should be between 15°-22°C, watering will be regular, weekly, accompanied by leaf misting and ensuring a high humidity, compared to other hybrids, of 60 – 70%.
It prefers partial shade combined with good ventilation. The flowering season lasts throughout the year.
Height including pot: 35 cm
Pot diameter: 9 cm
