Strelitzia Nicolai - Bird of Paradise

Strelitzia Nicolai is nicknamed the "White Bird of Paradise".

Care

• Light: Strelitzia Nicolai prefers strong indirect light. It can also tolerate weak indirect light.
• Temperature: The plant prefers temperatures of 18-24°C.
• Watering: Strelitzia Nicolai is watered moderately, so that the soil is almost dry between waterings. It is important not to let water stagnate in the saucer of the pot.
• Soil: The plant prefers fertile, well-drained soil.
• Fertilizer: It is fertilized once a month during the growing season with a fertilizer for green plants.

Strelitzia nicolai is a plant with large, natural leaves that tend to split at the tip as they develop. This feature is normal and specific to the species, being a natural adaptation mechanism to the wind. Moreover, after handling, packing, or transport, some leaves may show more pronounced splits or small aesthetic imperfections. These do not affect the health of the plant and do not influence its growth or further development.
