Sinocalycanthus 'Venus' - extremely ornamental hybrid developed in the USA, through a complex crossing. A compact plant was thus obtained, with a very large flower (approx. 10 cm) with a pleasant sweet fragrance. Also, this hybrid has a very good resistance to cold.
The appearance of the plant changes dramatically in late spring, when it is practically covered with fragrant flowers.
