Rth. Love Passion 'Orange Bird' AM CCM/AOS (Rhyncattleanthe Love Passion 'Orange Bird') is an orchid hybrid from the nothogenus Rhyncattleanthe (family Orchidaceae), created in 1990 by Dogashima (Rlc. William Farrell × Ctt. Trick or Treat).

Brief botanical characteristics:

  • Flowers: Medium-sized, intense uniform orange (concolor), grouped in strong inflorescences with up to 10 flowers. Lip sometimes with a red tint. Pleasant, strong fragrance. Awarded by AOS.
  • Habitus: Robust pseudobulbs, medium-vigorous sized epiphytic plant. Fast growth and prolific blooming.
  • Particularities: Strong influence (20%+) from Cattleya cinnabarina and Guarianthe aurantiaca – responsible for the vivid orange color. A highly appreciated hybrid for color intensity and productivity.

The 'Orange Bird' clone is considered one of the best in the grex for color and shape.

Fragrant flowers: YES

Flower size: approx. 8 cm
This hybrid is cared for like a Cattleya orchid. Check the care guide here.

The ceramic pot is not included in the price. Flowers may show natural color variations influenced by season and growing conditions.
