Peperomia graveolens (Ruby glow)
Let me know when it’s back in stock!
Peperomia graveolens is a succulent plant native to southern Ecuador. Ruby Glow is a mini shrub that grows up to four inches tall with red stems, with leaves that are extremely succulent except for the upper part. The V-shaped leaves (which aid in photosynthesis) are green on top and red underneath.
Peperomia is not a difficult plant to care for, the biggest problem it faces is usually related to watering.
Light: Peperomia prefers moderate light but will tolerate shade. They do very well under fluorescent lights, making them ideal for an office or basement.
Water: Water when the soil is almost dry, they do not like to be overwatered.
Temperature: optimal between 18-24 degrees Celsius, but it also adapts to 10 degrees Celsius.
Fertilizer: Fertilize the plant monthly in spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertilizer.
