Hoya carnosa D12
Hoya Carnosa is the most recognized species in the genus and is also one of the most popular. The plant features rapid growth and impressive foliage with great variability. The color of the leaves and flowering vary depending on light exposure – plants grown in filtered light will have darker foliage but less abundant flowering, while plants grown in strong filtered light or direct sun can bloom throughout the warm season but will have much lighter-colored leaves, often sun-bleached.
The flowers are impressive, white-pink, fragrant, with a lifespan of about 7 days. The plant easily re-blooms on old peduncles, and new peduncles appear during the growing season on new vines. The flower color is influenced by the light the plant receives and the fertilizer.
