Clematis 'Margaret Hunt' - clematite cu flori XL (Late Large-flowered Group)
€8,95
Clematis 'Margaret Hunt' - The charming pale pink-purple flowers have a darker stripe when they open. As they bloom, they turn into a delicate pearly pink. A variety introduced by Fisks Clematis Nursery in 1969, Clematis 'Margaret Hunt' is one of the most popular summer-flowering clematis. Large and spectacular flowers with a diameter of 10-15 cm.
Classification: Late Large-flowered Group
This type of clematis prefers good quality soil, rich in nutrients, moist but well-drained. It is recommended to improve the soil with manure or compost at planting, if possible. In the case of cultivation in drier soils that tend to dry out quickly, cover the base with a layer of shredded bark (or another type of mulch) to retain soil moisture.
Clematis generally prefer a growing space with good sun exposure.
It is not necessary to remove the faded flowers of these clematis, but if they seem to have finished blooming earlier than expected, a light pruning can encourage new growth and a second flowering late in autumn.
In the cold season, the plants appear as leafless sticks that look dry – this is perfectly normal and the plants are fully viable.
