Full description and specifications
Lycastles are orchids very recognizable by their fragrant triangular flowers, which feature long sepals and face-facing petals. Each stem has a single flower. They produce pseudobulbs that have very thin leaves and the stem emerges from the base of the pseudobulb.
The Lycaste orchid is native to Central America and Mexico.
The ideal humidity is between 50 and 70%, with as much ventilation or air circulation as possible. Plants grown in sphagnum moss or a mixture of fir bark and perlite should be kept evenly moist, not soggy as the roots may rot.
