Philodendron joepii

Philodendron joepii - a variety that impresses with its stunning foliage - the juvenile leaves are long and somewhat uniform, but as they mature their appearance changes dramatically, becoming three-lobed, with a central lobe that is long, narrow at the base, and widens towards the tip. Mature leaves reach an impressive size of about 70 cm.

Philodendron joepii is a species native to French Guiana.

Growth habit: The plant can support itself. When the air humidity is sufficiently high, it also develops strong aerial roots.

Note: Stock specimens may have leaves with defects due to handling/international transport.
