Paphiopedilum Maudiae Femma (Venus's Slipper)

Original creation by PP Orchideeën, Femma represents the acronym of the names of the two daughters (Femke and Marit) of the orchid growers Elsbeth Prins and Ron Tieglaar, founders of the company Prins Paphiopedilum Orchids. As a cultivated variety of the hybrid Paph. maudiae, obtained from crossing the botanical species Paphiopedilum callosum (seeds) and Paphiopedilum lawrenceanum (pollen), the growing method for this taxon does not differ from Maudiae, Vinicolor, and Black Jack.
Femma is a hybrid with a unique, special, vibrantly fresh coloration, which can keep its flowers for up to 10 – 12 weeks.

Flowers: large flowers of 7-12 cm, colors of green and white.

Leaves are two-colored, very attractive.

Flowering season: October - March

Flowering duration: between 6 and 12 weeks
Height with pot: 20 cm
