Hoya undulata - exemplarul din poze
€147,95
Hoya undulata - a rare species endemic to Borneo, Kalimantan, first described in 2015. The species name relates to its leaves, which have wavy edges.
It stands out through its impressive leaves that give it the appearance of a prehistoric plant – they are covered with a silver splash that turns pink when exposed to strong light. When exposed to sunlight, the plant can become completely red/crimson, a phenomenon also seen in closely related species such as Hoya gunung gading and Hoya bhutanica.
It is a variety with relatively slow growth that does not tolerate excessive moisture well. In overly damp conditions, new leaves may become spotted, and the roots rot quite easily.
The flowers are impressive, large in size, and according to some sources, strongly fragrant. When the plant is given good conditions, it grows and blooms relatively easily. The flower color varies depending on the microclimate and the intensity of the light in which the plant is grown.
Pot diameter: 9 cm. Plant without flowers. Older leaves show defects.
