Hoya meliflua - flori parfumate (parfum de ciocolata)

Hoya melliflua - a species native to the Philippines. The plant is notable for its impressive flowers, which are variable in color from pink to reddish-orange, with a fragrance reminiscent of chocolate.
The leaves are fleshy, hard, glossy and dark green in color. The stem tends to become woody relatively quickly as the plant grows.
Flowering can occur even at small sizes, although the plant develops vines that can reach 4m in maturity. The flowers produce a large amount of nectar, hence the name Hoya melliflua. In general, the lifespan of the flowers exceeds 7 days.
