Hoya bella - Our Lady's Tear - large specimens!
€33,95
Hoya bella, commonly known as "Our Lady's Tear" or "Wax Flower". It is an epiphytic botanical species, native to Assam and Myanmar.
This plant has thin, flexible, hanging stems that can reach up to 1-1.5 meters in length. The leaves are small, fleshy, glossy, and deep green, with an oval or elongated shape. Hoya bella is especially valued for its spectacular, star-shaped flowers, which appear in clusters, more frequently during the warm season.
The flowers of Hoya bella have a star shape with five petals, about 1-2 cm in diameter, and are white, sometimes with a pinkish tint, with a pink-cyclamen center. The flowers give off a sweet scent, similar to the smell of vanilla or jasmine, which becomes stronger in the evening.
Hoya bella is an easy-to-care-for plant, ideal for growing in pots or hanging baskets. It prefers filtered or partial light, temperatures above 22°C, and high humidity. The soil should be well-drained and slightly moist, with moderate watering. During the active growth period, the plant can be fertilized once every two or three weeks with a diluted liquid fertilizer.
Note: Long vines may have mechanical defects/scars. Due to temperature changes, flowers may be lost during transport.
