Haworthia cymbiformis spp. variegata

Haworthia cymbiformis var. variegata is an attractive fleshy plant, part of the Asphodelaceae family. It is valued for its decorative appearance, being easy to care for and ideal for collectors of fleshy plants or beginners.

Care

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light, but can also tolerate partial shade. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, especially during the peak hours of the day.
• Watering: As a fleshy plant, it stores water in its thick leaves, requiring moderate watering. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. During winter, reduce the watering frequency.
• Soil: Needs a well-drained soil mix, ideal for fleshy plants or cacti, to prevent water stagnation and root rot.
• Temperature: Thrives best in temperatures between 15°C and 26°C. It is not frost-resistant, so if kept outside during summer, it must be brought indoors before the cold arrives.
• Fertilizer: Can benefit from diluted fertilizer for fleshy plants, applied once in spring or summer, but it is not strictly necessary.
