This plant prefers moderate to strong indirect light , but also tolerates weaker light, although growth may be slower. Direct exposure to the sun should be avoided, as it can burn the leaves. The soil should be kept slightly moist, avoiding excessive watering, and the upper layer of the soil should dry easily between waterings. In the cold months, watering should be reduced. Dieffenbachia 'Crocodile' needs a well-drained soil, rich in organic matter, and a universal soil mix for indoor plants is suitable.

The ideal temperature for the growth of this plant is between 18-27°C. It is sensitive to cold and cold air currents, so it is important to protect it from temperatures below 15°C.
