Cattleya (Laelia) perrinii is a botanical species found in Brazil, at altitudes between 700 and 900 meters. This medium-sized epiphytic orchid grows mainly in warm conditions. The plant bears a single apical leaf, strap-shaped, leathery, rounded at the tip. It blooms more frequently from late summer to winter, with 2 to 6 long-lasting flowers, having a spicy floral scent, on a raceme up to 25 cm long, supported by a large compressed sheath.
