Bulbophyllum sikkimense

Bulbophyllum sikkimense is a species of orchid that belongs to the genus Bulbophyllum, one of the largest orchid genera. This species is native to the mountainous regions of Asia, especially the Sikkim area in India, from which it takes its name. It is an epiphytic plant, meaning that in its natural environment it grows on other plants but does not draw nutrients from them.

The plant has small pseudobulbs from which lance-shaped or oval leaves grow, usually dark green in color.
