Botanical characteristics:

  • Flowers: Up to 22.5 cm long (the longissima forms can reach approximately 50 cm from tip to tip). Yellowish-green, with brown spots or veins, and long, slender sepals and petals resembling spider legs. Pleasant, sweet fragrance, more intense in the evening. Usually 6-15 flowers on an arched or pendulous basal stem, up to 60 cm long.
