Zygopetalum is a variety of fragrant orchid, often called Zygo, distinguished by flowers in shades of green, brown, white, and violet, unusually brightly colored.
Along with their oddly colored flowers, these plants are also noted for their incredible fragrance, which resembles the scent of a strongly aromatic hyacinth.
