Streptocarpus (Cape Primrose) are easy-care plants that come in a wide range of attractive colors that will produce flowers over several months. Streptocarpus are related to African violets, however, their care is a little different.
Streptocarpus care:
- do not expose directly to the sun.
- it is watered regularly starting from March. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. The plants can be watered from above or below, but do not allow the water to stagnate in the pots.
- it is fertilized every 2 weeks, with a concentration of half, from March to September.
- remove dead flower stems from the base.
- In winter: the temperature must not fall below 7-10 degrees Celsius.
