Platycerium bifurcatum, commonly known as “staghorn fern”, is a fascinating epiphytic plant native to the tropical forests of Australia and New Guinea. It is distinguished by its branched antler-shaped leaves, covered with a fine, silvery layer that gives them a velvety appearance and protects the plant against moisture loss.

This variety is often grown mounted on wood or in hanging pots, creating spectacular tropical decorations suitable for modern interiors or lush green spaces.
