Full description and specifications

Philodendron nangaritense (Philodendron sp. Fuzzy Petiole) - endemic species from Ecuador, which stands out both for its leaves with a special appearance and for its "fuzzy" petioles, covered with bristles, which change color as the plant matures. The new leaves will have raw green petioles, and as they mature, the color changes to shades of red and dark green.
The leaves appear in shades of pale pink (when the plant is grown in strong light), with the lower part pink or red, and as they mature they become golden and later dark green. It also presents a very interesting pattern, which segments them.
Initially it was marketed as Philodendron sp. Fuzzy Petiole, then received the species name Philodendron nangaritense. In the past, it was sold by various suppliers under the erroneous name of Philodendron aspartatum.
Growth habits: Creeper, but can be modeled on a trellis/mosstube.
Copies in stock may also have defective leaves.
