Hoya caudata (fekete levelek)
Hoya caudata (black leaves) - a native species from Thailand and Malaysia. The plant stands out both for its spectacular leaves covered with silver splashes, which turn dark maroon, almost black when the plant is grown in strong light, and for its impressive, fluffy, and fragrant flowers that last up to a week.
Under optimal growing conditions, flowering occurs repeatedly on the same stalk. The buds usually fall off when the plant is moved or experiences large temperature changes. The plants tend to bloom even at a relatively small size, forming numerous stalks on the new vines.
The plant shows steady growth, becoming a striking specimen in a relatively short time. It tolerates drought periods well but does not respond as well when overwatered or planted in pots that are too large.
In the Secret Garden greenhouse, Hoya caudata blooms continuously throughout the year.
Note: Cuttings/mature plants with green leaves are delivered. When exposed to intense sunlight, the leaf color becomes almost black.
Notes: minimum 4 leaves
Fragrant flowers: YES
