Dahlia (Semi-Cactus Grp) 'Labella Maggiore Fire' is a spectacular variety from the semi-cactus group, known for its large and dramatic flowers, with elongated, slightly twisted petals, in bright shades of red, orange and yellow. The intense contrast and unique shape transform any space into a corner full of energy and color.
✔️ Botanical characteristics:
• Plant type: perennial (in frost-free areas), cultivated as an annual in Romania
• Habit: upright, vigorous
• Height at maturity: 50–70 cm
• Foliage: dark green, slightly serrated, healthy and dense in appearance
• Flowers: large (12–15 cm), in tones of incandescent red with orange and yellow accents, with thin petals, twisted towards the tip – specific to the semi-cactus group
• Flowering: June – October, continuous and abundant
☀️ Growing conditions:
• Light: full sun – essential for maximum flowering and intense colors
• Soil: fertile, well-drained, with the addition of compost or humus
• Watering: regular – soil moist, but not soaked
• Minimum temperature: rhizomes do not withstand temperatures below 0°C – remove and store in a cool, dry place during the winter.
• Fertilization: every 10–14 days, with fertilizer for flowering plants
