Corokia cotoneaster
Corokia cotoneaster is a flowering plant species from the Rosaceae family (the rose family) native to New Zealand.
The corokia cotoneaster plant produces small, star-shaped, fragrant flowers. They appear at the end of spring, often followed by small red fruits.
Fruits of different colors can appear on the same plant, which not only gives the plant a fascinating appearance but is also an unusual remarkable property. The leaves change color depending on the season.
This type of plant grows in full sun or partial shade; however, it must be sheltered from cold, dry winds and extremely low temperatures. Cotoneaster is not frost-resistant and can tolerate cold temperatures only for a few days. PrProtect it from low temperatures, keep the temperature between 2° C – 15° C during the winter season.
