Ceropegia woodii is a perennial succulent with a flowing habit, native to South Africa, highly prized for its small, heart-shaped leaves , arranged on long, thin stems. The foliage is a mottled silver-green color, with a purple underside, creating a delicate and romantic effect. Due to its shape and growth, the plant is also known as "String of Hearts" , "heart plant" or "String of Hearts" .

It is ideal for hanging pots , high shelves or combinations of flowing plants. Growth is rapid in good conditions, and over time it can reach impressive lengths. The plant also produces tubular flowers in shades of pink-purple, with an unusual shape, similar to a lamp.
