Astrophytum myriostigma var. nudum is a rare and elegant botanical variety of the popular "bishop's star" cactus, notable for the lack of the white fluff characteristic of the typical species. Instead of the floury appearance, this variety is distinguished by a completely smooth and glossy surface, of a deep green or with blue tints, which highlights its star-shaped shape and the perfect symmetry of the ribs.

Synonyms: Astrophytum myriostigma f. nudum, Astrophytum myriostigma 'Nudum', nud Episcopal Cactus.
