Potted Anthurium mix without flowers
Anthurium, also known as the flamingo flower, is a very decorative plant, both through its flowers and its leaves. It grows and blooms faster in brightly lit rooms. It should not be placed in direct sunlight. Strong sunlight causes burns on the leaves. If kept on a windowsill, it can also adapt to less brightly lit rooms.
Exotic and striking, with bold flowers and shiny, dark green leaves, anthuriums, like the hospitality they represent, are hardy and irresistibly beautiful.
It is a perennial shrub-like plant, native to the forests of Colombia (equatorial climate).
