Euphorbia/poinsettia is the plant that delights our eyes every winter season, heralding the coming of Christmas.
Poinsettia was cultivated by the Aztecs in the moist mountainous regions of Mexico. They used this plant to fight fever. Later, in the 17th century, the Franciscans used the flowers in various religious ceremonies. Its cultivation and popularization began in the 1960s, and soon the plant became indispensable in Christmas decorations.

Placement: bright but shaded spot, protected from drafts
