Phalaenopsis – impressive specimens with Keiki

The specimens available in stock are truly special due to the presence of one or more keikis (offspring formed on the flower spike), a rare and highly appreciated detail by collectors. Keikis can be kept on the mother plant for an amplified visual effect, with multiple blooming, or can be separated later to obtain new, fully developed plants.

Some specimens, or in the case of certain hybrids all specimens, may have terminal spikes. The terminal spike does not represent a quality issue, and no distinction is made between specimens with or without a terminal spike, as the plants in both cases meet international horticultural standards.
