The parentage is preserved exactly as in the title; EPC 141 is a traceability label, not a botanical name. There are no confirmed details about its origin: it is not known whether the hybrid appeared naturally or was produced in cultivation. It is appreciated for its thick, ovate-elliptical foliage and umbels of fragrant white flowers.

Foliage and growth. The leaves are thick, ovate to elliptical, glossy, and saturated green, with a slightly pointed tip. The form combines the succulent appearance commercially associated with Hoya pachyclada and the more elongated leaf blade associated with material sold as Hoya parasitica. The plant has a vining habit and can be trained on a support or allowed to grow as a trailing plant. Vine length and density vary between specimens.

Flowers and fragrance. It produces umbels of white, pubescent flowers with pink-toned coronas. The flowers are fragrant; intensity may vary. Blooming is not guaranteed.

Commercial identity and parentage. The product retains the commercial formula Hoya pachyclada x parasitica (EPC 141). Hoya pachyclada Kerr is an accepted species native to Indochina. No independent publication confirming EPC 141 as a registered hybrid was found.
