Hoya lucardenasiana - species native to Luzon, Philippines, discovered and published relatively recently (2009). The plant is vigorous, with compact growth. The leaves are green, glossy and turn a reddish color when the plant receives strong light.
The flowers are interesting, of medium size, with a lifespan of 5-7 days and have a pleasant fragrance, similar to Hoya brevialata and Hoya burtonie. H. lucardenasiana tends to bloom even at small sizes. Flowering can occur throughout the warm season, under optimal growing conditions.
