Cordyline fruticosa Kiwi (Lucky Plant) is a decorative tropical plant with leaves, originally from Southeast Asia. Cordyline fruticosa is known as Cordyline terminalis or Dracaena terminalis.
Cordyline fruticosa Kiwi filters airborne toxins such as formaldehyde, benzene and trichlorethylene from the atmosphere.
Location: in a bright area. Direct sunlight should be limited to no more than a few hours a day, as it can damage its leaves.
Water: keeps the substrate permanently moist. Allow the top of the soil to cool slightly before watering. Reduce watering in winter. It will tolerate some degree of drought. Do not allow water to stagnate at the bottom of the plant.
Temperature: optimal between 18-27 degrees Celsius, not lower than 13 degrees Celsius.
Humidity: preferably place the pot on a tray with wet pebbles.
Fertilizer: Apply a weakly diluted fertilizer 1-2 times/month during the growing season. Do not use fluoride fertilizer.
It can reach a height of 100-150 cm indoors, with a moderate growth rate.
