Colocasia esculenta 'Painted Black' (Serija Gecko)
€17,95
Colocasia esculenta 'Painted Black'.
Differences between Colocasia and Alocasia. Alocasia leaves have an upward orientation, while Colocasia leaves point downward toward the ground. Unlike Alocasia, Colocasia requires much more water (it can even tolerate soil with high water retention), being considered by many growers as a "water plant" and can grow in direct sunlight.
Colocasia esculenta 'Cintho Aloha' can grow up to 120-150 cm in height.
Colocasia is a plant sensitive to transport (especially changes in temperature and humidity levels).
Height including pot: approx. 20 cm
Note: Some leaves show defects due to transport and/or inconsistent watering. The stems are very fragile and break easily.
