Catasetum Ryan Harrington - a hybrid known for its spectacular and colorful flowers. This hybrid is the result of crossing Catasetum tenebrosum and Catasetum denticulatum. The flowers are medium-sized and display vibrant colors, ranging from yellow to shades of brown and green, with a strong and pleasant fragrance.

One notable feature of the Catasetum genus is that the plants can produce distinct male and female flowers on the same specimen, depending on environmental conditions, which makes them unique among orchids. Catasetum Ryan Harrington stands out for this variability and for its ability to bloom several times a year if optimal light and humidity conditions are met.

The flowers of this variety naturally show great variability.
Flower size: approx. 4-6 cm

Fragrant flowers: Yes

Note: Dormant plants, imported from Thailand, with a reduced root system (partially cut roots) to allow import. They have been replanted in our greenhouse by supplementing with bark. Root system reduction is generally recommended during autumn replanting, after the plants enter dormancy.
