Calathea Warscewiczii
Calathea warscewiczii is a tropical plant appreciated for its spectacular foliage and velvety texture.
Care conditions
• Light : Prefers indirect, filtered light, avoiding direct sun which can burn the leaves.
• Humidity : Requires high humidity (above 50-60%) to prevent drying of the leaf edges.
• Watering : The soil should be kept slightly moist, but not overwatered to avoid root rot. It is recommended to use filtered or rainwater.
• Temperature : Ideal between 18-26°C , does not tolerate cold below 15°C.
• Soil: Slightly acidic, well-drained, based on peat and perlite.
• Growth : Medium-sized plant, can reach 60-100 cm in height .
It is a relatively demanding plant, but with proper care, it becomes a spectacular element in any interior space.
Calathea is a plant sensitive to temperature differences. Therefore, it is possible to receive these plants with some defects on the leaves, but these do not affect the viability of the plant.
