The leaves are palmate, with five or seven pointed lobes. In the spring, the leaves are a vibrant light green, then turn dark green during the summer. In autumn, the foliage becomes a palette of brilliant colors, with tones of yellow, orange and red.
Acer palmatum 'Little Princess' prefers a place with partial sun or partial shade, protected from strong winds. It is resistant to cold, being able to tolerate temperatures of up to -20 degrees Celsius. The ideal soil is well-drained, slightly acidic or neutral.
