Microsorum thailandicum is a rare exotic fern native to Thailand - one of the few varieties with naturally blue (metallic blue) leaves on the planet. It became famous after being used as natural decor in the making of the film Avatar, and despite its very exotic appearance and the fact that it is a truly rare plant, it is also very easy to grow.
Growing recommendations: Lower light, medium-high humidity. It is considered a hardy fern that easily adapts to environmental conditions while maintaining its color. Ideal plant for a terrarium, but it also develops well in apartment conditions. Spraying and maintaining high humidity helps to enhance the color.
It can also be grown as an epiphytic or lithophytic plant, as long as proper humidity is ensured.
Plant propagation is done through spores (usually present on the back of the leaf) or through rhizomes that can later be divided. When propagation is desired, planting in Sphagnum Moss in a terrarium with a controlled microclimate is recommended, although propagation can also occur spontaneously under normal conditions.
Fertilization can be done with a very diluted orchid fertilizer. Many growers use only 10% of the dosage indicated on the package.

Watering should be done by thorough spraying - this fern has shallow surface roots and is sensitive to overwatering.

The decorative pot is not included in the price.
