Philodendron 'Glorious' (variation)
Full description and specifications
Philodendron 'Glorious' is the result of the cross between Philodendron Gloriosum and Philodendron Melanochrysum.
This variety has nectar-producing glands on the back of the leaves. The nectar has the role of attracting ants in search of food - thus, the plant gains a supply of chemicals secreted by them, but also takes advantage of the aggressive way in which the ant colonies defend their territory and food source, protecting the philodendron from other harmful insects .
Note: Specimens may have leaves with mechanical defects/scars and/or discoloration.
The ceramic bowl is not included in the price.
Height with pots included approx. 25 cm
