Anthurium Lilli Rouge
€13,95
Anthurium Lilli Roja - an abundance of red flowers with an unusual shape, giving the plant a very lush appearance.
Anthurium Lilli is a special variety, which you probably would not recognize at first glance as an Anthurium. Lilli is different in a positive way due to the shape of its flowers, which are upright and truly charming. This is a must-have variety.
Care:
- Light: Prefers indirect light, a bright area. It can also tolerate partial shade, but flowering will be more abundant under proper lighting conditions. Avoid direct sun exposure, which can burn the leaves.
- Soil: Prefers well-drained soil, rich in organic matter. A mix of potting soil with perlite and peat is ideal to ensure proper drainage.
- Watering: Water regularly, keeping the soil evenly moist but not soaked. Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings to prevent root rot. In winter, reduce watering slightly.
- Humidity: Anthurium prefers a high level of humidity. Regular misting of the leaves or using a humidifier can be beneficial, especially during the winter months.
- Temperature: The plant grows best at temperatures between 18-25°C. Avoid exposure to temperatures below 15°C and protect the plant from cold drafts.
- Fertilizing: Fertilize the plant once a month during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer for indoor plants. Reduce fertilizing during autumn and winter.
- Propagation: Anthurium is propagated by dividing the clump or by stem cuttings. Division is best done in spring.
- Common problems: The plant can be affected by pests such as red spider mites, aphids, and scale insects. Check the plant regularly and treat with appropriate insecticides if necessary. Overwatering can lead to root rot and mold growth.
