Paraphalaenopsis labukensis - cinnamon scent

Paraphalaenopsis labukensis is a spectacular and unusual botanical orchid, native to Borneo, known for its extremely long, cylindrical leaves, which can hang elegantly like green ribbons, giving the plant a uniquely exotic appearance.

The flowers are large and waxy, ranging in color from yellowish green to reddish bronze, with reddish or brownish stripes and spots, and a fragrance reminiscent of cinnamon. It blooms on arching stems that bear several flowers at once.

This epiphytic species is adapted to a warm, humid climate with filtered light and good air circulation. Being rare in cultivation, it is especially valued by collectors passionate about exotic orchids and unusual foliage and flowering forms.
