Narcissus ‘Rijnveld’s Early Sensation’, also known as ‘Early Sensation’, is a hybrid variety of daffodil, renowned for its very early blooming and resistance to harsh weather conditions. It is ideal for bringing color to the garden from the end of winter.

🔹 Botanical characteristics:

• Flowers: Single, with golden-yellow petals shaped like a star and a central cup shaped like a funnel, of the same color. The flower diameter is about 7.5 cm.

• Blooming: Blooms very early, from the end of winter to the beginning of spring, being one of the earliest daffodil varieties.

• Height: The plant reaches up to 35 cm, having an upright and elegant posture.

• Light: Prefers full sun or partial shade.

• Soil: Well-drained, fertile, with neutral or slightly acidic pH.

• Planting: Bulbs are planted in autumn, at a depth of about 15 cm and a distance of 10–15 cm between them.

• Watering: Water moderately after planting to encourage root development, then regularly during the active growth period, without letting water stagnate.

• Fertilizing: It is recommended to apply a balanced fertilizer in spring, when leaves appear, and after flowering to support the bulbs.

• Propagation: By dividing the bulbs during the dormant period, usually at the end of summer.

• Resistance: The plant is resistant to diseases and pests, but may suffer from bulb rot in overly wet soils – good drainage is essential.
