Hoya carnosa 'Krinkle 8' - chocolate scent

Hoya carnosa 'Krinkle 8' is a cultivar of Hoya carnosa with green, fleshy foliage marked by indentations on the upper surface of the leaf blade. The name comes from these indentations, usually six to ten per leaf. The species is an epiphytic vine native from southern China to Japan and Taiwan. The flowers are star-shaped and pink, with a red center, clustered in umbels. The evening fragrance is reminiscent of chocolate. This batch consists of young plants. Identity. The accepted botanical name of the species is Hoya carnosa (L.f.) R.Br. 'Krinkle 8' is an established cultivar that arose as a sport on Hoya carnosa 'Exotica'. It is not a separate species and is not a variegated form. The foliage is green, not variegated.
