Hoya compacta 'Mauna Loa' (variegated) - also known as Hoya Hindu Rope variegated or Hoya monstruosa variegated. It is a plant with hanging vines, compact, covered with twisted, variegated leaves, occasionally with a splash of silver.
The flowers are white or pale pink, appear among the fleshy leaves, last 5-7 days and have an interesting scent similar to that of almonds.
The origin of the plant is still uncertain and debated - initially it was published as Hoya carnosa 'Compacta' being considered a cultivar of carnosa, but later it was republished as a distinct species, the name currently considered correct being Hoya compacta.

Flower size: 1.5 cm and 30-50 flowers/umbela. They have the shape of large balls that can reach a circumference of 15 cm.
