Full description and specifications

CORAGEN® is an insecticide that works by activating ryanodine receptors, causing the release of calcium ions from the insect's muscle reserves, both smooth and striated. This process leads to muscle paralysis, ineffective control of movements, lethargy, immobility and ultimately death of the insect pest. Its effectiveness is manifested through contact, ingestion and absorption through the insect's cuticle. Inhibition of pest feeding occurs rapidly, within minutes to hours after ingestion. CORAGEN® also has ovi-larvicidal activity, the product being absorbed through the chorion and ingested by the newly hatched larvae, which consume the chorion. This early ingestion ensures rapid cessation of feeding and death of the larva before hatching, with visible effects between 24 and 60 hours after initial ingestion. Affected larvae may regurgitate and remain attached to leaves for a time without causing further damage.
Insecticide from the Rynaxypyr® range - with a single molecule from the anthranilamide class, with a broad spectrum to combat several pest species.

Active substance: chlorantraniliprole 200 g/l

Chlorantraniliprole, the active ingredient in CORAGEN® and similar products, is effective against a wide range of insect pests. It is known for its action on specific species, including but not limited to:

Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths) - Chlorantraniliprole effectively controls the larvae of many species of butterflies and moths, including the corn moth (Ostrinia nubilalis), the vine moth (Lobesia botrana), and other moths affecting vegetable and grain crops.

Coleoptera (beetles) - It is effective against pests such as the Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata), which mainly affects potatoes, and other species of beetles that attack agricultural crops.

Diptera (flies and mosquitoes) - Certain species that affect agricultural crops can also be controlled with chlorantraniliprole.

Hemiptera (bugs and aphids) - Although not the main target group, chlorantraniliprole may have side effects on certain species of Hemiptera.

Orthoptera (grasshoppers and crickets) - Chlorantraniliprole can be used in the management of some species of Orthoptera that pose a threat to crops.

Thrips: Chlorantraniliprole is effective in controlling thrips, which are difficult pests to manage due to their feeding behavior and ability to rapidly develop resistance to insecticides. Chlorantraniliprole products can provide control of thrips by inhibiting feeding and reducing the damage they can cause to crops.

Dilution: 1.5 ml/10 l of water. In case of a massive pest attack, it can be reapplied.
