Astrophytum asterias, also known as Silver Dollar Cactus or Starfish Cactus, is a species native to Mexico, highly valued for its perfectly symmetrical shape and velvety texture, sprinkled with decorative white dots. It is an ideal choice for lovers of rare succulent plants, being both hardy and particularly attractive.

Botanical characteristics:
• A succulent plant from the Cactaceae family, with a flattened body and no spines, formed of 8 rounded ribs.
• The surface is green-gray, covered with small white dots that create a silvery appearance.
• It can bloom in summer, with yellow flowers and an orange center.

Growing conditions:
• Light: prefers direct sunlight; ideally in a bright place or on a south-facing windowsill.
• Watering: moderate, only when the soil is completely dry. Water sparingly during the resting period (autumn-winter).
