Amydrium medium 'Silver Spiderman' - a rare species from the Araceae family, native to Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
The plant stands out with its impressive foliage - the leaves are colored in interesting shades of silvery green with bluish reflections and have prominent veins that segment them, giving the appearance of a spider web. As they mature, the leaves develop spectacular openings and change color.
Growth is vigorous, and the plant uses aerial roots to climb on any support.
Amydrium medium shows great variability in its leaves depending on origin - botanists report significant morphological variations even among neighboring colonies (in situ). Currently, there are numerous clones in circulation.
