Aechmea Brasil is a striking plant that belongs to the bromeliad family. Aechmea is also commonly called the vase plant because its variegated leaves form a cone from which the magnificent flower cluster rises.

Care instructions for Aechmea Fasciata
Placement: bright but shaded spot
Humidity: the soil should be slightly moist and the funnel must be filled with fresh water
Soil: neutral peat
Propagation: by separating the pups from the mother plant
Characteristics: the spike—the flower—is a bract with a very long life, about 6 months. After the flower fades, cut the stem at the base, and the plant produces many pups around it. The pups are separated when they are 5-7 cm tall and will bloom in turn.
It is not a fragile plant at all, but the only condition that must be met is proper watering.
