Rubus fruticosus 'Thornfree' is a thornless, self-fertile blackberry variety that produces very large (around 4g), elongated, aromatic black fruits starting from mid-July. 

Award-winning variety by RHS with the Award of Garden Merit.

Rubus fruticosus 'Thornfree' is appreciated for its very high yields and superior fruit quality. A vigorous variety that requires support (trellises, wire fences, etc.).

Remontant variety - produces fruit from July to September.
For optimal results, it is recommended to place in a sunny area and water during the warm season. In spring, when the vines exceed 1m, it is recommended to pinch the tip to encourage branching and increase production. At the beginning of winter, old vines can be cut to promote new growth in the next season - fruits on annual growth.

Withstands temperatures down to -25 °C. Very resistant plant to diseases and pests.

Note: In the cold season, garden plants are sold pruned and without leaves.
