Rebutia violaceiflora is a small and charming succulent plant, popular among cactus lovers due to its compact size and spectacular flowers. It is part of the Cactaceae family and is native to the mountainous areas of Bolivia.
What makes this plant really special are its flowers, which appear in spring or summer. The flowers are usually an intense purple, very attractive and contrasting with the green of the stem.
Rebutia violaciflora is a cactus relatively easy to care for. Rebutia violaceiflora prefers strong light, but must be protected from direct midday sun to avoid burns. Watering must be moderate; let the soil dry completely between waterings. During the winter, this plant requires an even lower watering regime, as it is a rest period for it.
This plant does well in moderate temperatures, but does not tolerate extreme cold. It is ideal to be kept in spaces where the temperature does not drop below 10 degrees Celsius.
